Most of you who I have friended are not very religious. I personally don't mind at all.. but I do have a question...

Why is it ok for people to just come to regular church service but its not ok for me to leave after Sunday School? Its like I get chastised because I leave after Sunday School and don't spend my whole morning at Church.

What Gives???

I feel the same way. We have had that problem in our church here as well. Ryan used to work 3rd shift and get off at 7am on Sunday morning so we would go to 9am mass and leave at 10 instead of hanging around for the rest of the service. They always got mad so we just quit going and we do a little bit of church at home every Sunday. It is not the same and we miss being there but not being judged in a place where you should not be judged.

I hope I'm not going to offend, I really would never judge someone who only came to Sunday School, but I think some people who only come for Sunday School, tend to do so to socialize rather then worship God. (I am speaking in general terms, not accusing you at all).

Again, I'm not one of those people. When I started going to my own church, it was easier to go to the non personal church service where you could hide into the pew while in Sunday School, people expect to get to know you. It honestly felt like more of a commitment. However, now that I belong to a Sunday School class, it's tempting now to skip church service.

Um, please I hope I didn't offend you. If you have another job to go to or something of course I understand you are leaving and if so, they should applaud you for not skipping the whole morning entirely. OTOH, I know most people see church service as primary while Sunday School comes secondary.
