seven of clubs
this should be the only long update you'll ever get from me. :)
today was my first day back to school. it was quite interesting if i do say so myself. after not sleeping at all last night...well i lied, ten minutes, but still. i went to school at about seven twenty. that sucked. i found my locker first because there was no one there that i knew, then i saw tim. we hung out for a bit and i discussed how i was "far too scene" for everything. it was cool. then i saw heather and we found her locker together. :)
homeroom SUCKED. it was two hours long and there was a fifteen minute assembly in it which was all stuff we already know. i hate having to do this shit over and over again. there are apparently cameras in the school now. weird. blah. then i kinda fell asleep in homeroom before heading to the first class which was english. miss grady went around the room and asked everyone about their summers and i said i watched my nephew and stuff. people were talking and she goes "hush, kathleen cauley is talking now" so i went "YEAH KATHLEEN CAULEY IS TALKING NOW." everyone was like "whoa." hehe.
teen and family issues sucked. i was one of three white people in the class. one. of. three. out of like twenty eight. luckily genie was in the class too, and we were the only people each other knew. we sat at the same table and talked for a bit until the teacher took over. mrs. scherza i had her for sewing so she knows me. so right off i'm a white senior girl who is in as who the teacher knows. just please, give them one more reason to hate me. oh right. i listen to "insert genre other than hip hop or r&b here" music! ugh wow i am so disgusting. and i have red hair to boot. what a bitch i am.
not only was this class extremely boring, but i found out it is an easy a. thank god. the teacher was telling everyone how the class represented shea high school and she counted the white people. she pointed out that "KATHLEEN IS WHITE" and i was SO embarrassed. i turned red and hid my face and genie was laughing and i was laughing too but it was like "god just make it even more obvious and give them a newsflash." it was weird. then there was this dominican kid who told us to call him nelly who sat at our table. he's a tenth grader and genie is convinced he is in love with me. he was like "so are you gonna be a lawyer so you can get me outta jail?" then he asked if he could sit with me and genie at lunch. :[ man i attract the weirdos. first gabriel, now this kid. and they're both dominican. i am just a magnet i guess.
lunch was fun. i sat with genie and ERIC. eric was in my gym class he is so great. he is so funny and friendly. it is hard not to like him. so he sat with us and maggie sat with us for a little while, then this girl named amanda who likes to be called manda (hai wifey ;*) sat with us. she is a freshman. i was reminded so bad of munda. she had black hair and she was really quiet. eric kept talking to her to try and make her feel welcome. i wish i had someone who was like eric when i was a freshman. sighs.
on the way out from lunch i saw kathleen ko and we talked for a bit and she told me she's pregnant. i was like "wow...congratulations." i really didn't know what else to say. i mean, what do you say to someone who you've known since fourth grade when they get pregnant? if any of you know, please tell me. i am in need of conversation with this girl because i sit in front of her in spanish class. :/
ecology was next and we just kind of sat there while mrs. rainho gave her introduction speech. all i can say is i hope we learn about the reproductive system because apparently we are learning about the human cycle or body according to the class plan thing. we are also supposed to be dissecting a cow's eyeball which i am kind of disgusted by. ugh.
the last class for the day was spanish five, and she just talked to us about the class and we filled out papers about us as usual. that's what we do every year. all the time. same thing. it was interesting. heather isn't in my class which sucks but everyone else is in my class so that will be fun i guess. i don't know, we'll see. kathleen ko sits in back of me and that's pretty much it! catie is in the class too but she sits like a row over, as in, there is a row between us. muy interesante.
i would ramble on and on more about shcool but i am afraid i am entirely too tired to do so, and none of you actually are reading this anyway! i got a call from dunkin' donuts today and i am supposed to call the manager back tomorrow to set up my interview. since i don't have school tomorrow i hope that tomorrow will be okay to do it. i will be so happy if i get hired just simply because i really need money. i really need new clothes and i need to start saving for prom.
i am going to end this update now. it is too long for my likings because i just can't ever stop typing apparently. later gators.
