I am, like many who live in this part of California, waiting to see if the snow levels tomorrow will drop below 500 feet.

Snow in the hills here happens a few times most winters.
Snow on the ground? A few times in a century.

I'm not sure I would. The idea of the Bay's drivers trying to cope with even slightly snowy roads makes me shudder even more than the low temperatures would. That being said, the above photo might be from the cold spell my from-the-Bay once told me about.
