it stopped raining.

it's raining very hard today and it has been since i woke up at 7:40 this morning. the noise of the rain comes into the house not only through the windows but the large vent in the kitchen. it roars and whispers as the water pours and drizzles outside. occasionally lightning cracks and the thunder scares me. i woke up this morning in tears from a very strange and involved nightmare.
Chris had his lypoma removed!!! he's up and walking around but i think that's just becuase he's high on pain killers. i'm planning on doing nothing today.

i'm working on my dress and i don't think it's working. my fabric choice was a little ambitious. hopefully i'll do some damage [get closer to the finish] before i leave for iowa. my bags are all but packed. my face-wash and shoes need to make room for my party dress and gross camp clothes.
