I am weirdly not that tired today, even though I got up at 7:30am for the first time in aaages. My eyes feel a bit funny though. Maybe they're not used to the light at this time in the morning?
1.) I am leaving Aber around the 27th, but I'll be going to Drew's house first (his parents are giving us a lift home). I'll be back in Wycombe on Thursday 1st April. I should be leaving to go back to Aber around the 15th. I have a lot of stuff to do over the holiday, but should be available to do stuff some of the time too.
2.) My parents are putting our house on the market in mid-April, possibly sooner. Apparently it takes on average six months to sell a house and go through all the motions of moving, so they should be up in Lancashire by September, in time for my Dad to start his uni course.
3.) I currently still do not have a place to live or a job to go to after uni. I'm not too worried about the job, I'm planning on starting to look for something in May. I don't know what yet, but that can be decided later. As for the place to live, well, I've recently found out that one of the estate agents in town won't let me look for a professionals house/flat until I'm not a student any more. How am I supposed to find anywhere to live then?! It's stressing me out a bit, but hopefully if we try a different agent the problem should go away.
4.) I still don't have internet in my flat. Our landlord has now decided to have wired internet installed, and the electricians will be starting on that on Wednesday (supposedly). But apparently even still it won't be available to use until mid-April. Just after we need it. She keeps reminding us that they're still working on trying to get the wireless back, but after two months I'm not getting my hopes up.
So yeah, I think those are the most important things going on in my life at the moment. Except work obviously, which is getting done extremely slowly, but at least that's better than it not getting done at all. I have a tutorial today which I am actually going to go to! I've missed the last two, but someone reminded me yesterday that 15% of my dissertation work is given for "student conduct", so I probably should start turning up again. Even though it's at a really inconvenient time.
I've also damaged my shoulder. I don't know how, I just woke up one day and it hurt, and it's actually getting worse. It feels OK if I hunch it up, but if I let it drop down, try to sit up straight or take a deep breath in it hurts. I'm blaming the lack of comfortable places to sit. This is one of the main reasons why I want it to be the holiday now, just so I can sit on a comfy sofa! That and be able to use the internet whenever I like of course. I'll probably spend most of the time sorting and packing up my stuff though to make it easier to move during the Summer, then helping my parents paint my room white. And frantically trying to finish my dissertation.
So yup, that's all fun. I'm re-reading Harry Potter again though, which is getting me through it!
