From 8:30am today for 100 hours I will be giving up complaining. It's part of a Guiding Centenary challenge that I'm doing at the moment called "Adventure 100". The challenge has 10 sections and each section has 10 "adventures", each of which is allocated a number of points. Guess what? I started my dissertation! I've read a couple of papers and written notes, read through my Biology issue report from year 13 and used what I learnt from them to write a rough plan for my introduction. I know it's not a lot (bearing in mind the introduction was supposed to be handed in before the holidays), but at least it's a start :-D

I was reading my book (The Shining, Stephen King), just a minute ago and a poster fell off my wall and scared the shit out of me. Before I turned round to look at what the noise was I thought a bird had got in my room! A bird! In my room with the window and door closed! Silly scary book.
