Y'all don't love me

Today was the big "Jerry Springer" day. It was a good day, but after the crushing news I got upon returning home I just don't feel ready to go into detail. I promise to update tomorrow or something, as soon as I feel a little better.

She entered my life at the tender age of 4 1/2 and was my ever present friend. Her fur has held 20 years of tears and she has nuzzled my legs through a lifetime of cramps and heartbreaks and illness and love found and lost. I got bored today, so I decided to spend the afternoon in Kokomo (IN) for a change of scenery. Had pizza at Markland Mall, bought some jeans at old Navy since I am too fat for all my other ones, and then got....SEASON THREE OF DAWSON'S CREEK to add to my collection. Big fun! We made our first big purchase as a married couple...a big screen tv!!! We got a really really REALLY awesome deal and it so so exciting. It is a 46" Toshiba Cinema Series. Wide screen, high definition, the whole nine yards. We were between this one and a 47" Panasonic, but this one was an amazing deal. It was actually WAY out of our price range ( Read more... )

I am depressed. And I don't even know why. I am just...sad. I have to work at 6 and I tried going to bed early, but that didn't work either. I am just feeling blah about everything. I feel like everyone in the world is on vacation but me. I am bored. My sister and Josh are in Cali, My uncle and cousin are in Texas on my dream vacation, my mom and dad are on their way to Chicago, and I am, well, HERE. GRRRR. I need to go somewhere cool. I think I am going to buy a bike. A mountain bike. With lots and lots of speeds.

We are all moved in to our little home and loving it. It feels so spacious after West Jefferson. Just having hallways and high ceilings makes a huge difference. And I am loving the patio and yard.
