My sister, Kristi, is in Australia. She left on Saturday for two weeks. I miss her like the dickens! She's very much the adventurer. Last summer she went to Europe by herself and had a marvelous time

I've been thinking the same thing about the upcoming summer. It's going to be wretched, I'm afraid. Meh is right.

Surprises, you say? I'm on the edge of my seat.

I'm not very journal savvy yet so I'm afraid my posts are going all over the place. I started a thread (I think) called My Surprise.

I'm a total lame-o. I don't have a digital camera and only have a few pictures on my hard drive. Can't figure out how to put in pretty photos to make the journal more lively! Grr.

Note to self - must get edumacated on 21st century technology!

Australia is 19 hours ahead of the West Coast. Can't get my brain wrapped around that one. It's tomorrow there?
