So we survived the weekend. Mom and dad arrived on Friday, and Al's mom promptly arrived here about 5 minutes after they did. They all got along, but we knew they would. My great aunt died yesterday. We all knew she was going to: she would have been 99 in September, and she didn't look so good even when I left Hungary in June. We all knew it was coming, but I still took it pretty hard. She's really the closest thing I've had to a grandparent for the past 17 years. So we just got back yesterday from a weekend of camping and tubing in Nebraska. I was really freaked out about going on this trip at first. Hey guys! I'm in Sioux Falls again. Yay! Today we're packing up and moving stuff to the new place. Al already has a bunch of stuff moved over there to our garage, but we still have a bunch to go. Things seem to be looking up. I went to the doctor's today and got some antibiotics. I apparently have 2 problems: one's treatable with antibiotics and the other's not. The one that's not I'll pretty much have to just hope it goes away or wait until I'm back in Canada. Yay. The only problem with these antibiotics is that I can't even have one drop ( Read more... )
