Clearly you don't know me very well. I have worked every year of my life since the age 16 and only recently quit my FULL TIME job managing a coffee cafe (that's right, MANAGING). I know how to work hard, and I worked so hard it compromised my marriage. So my husband and I decided together it would be better if I stayed at home and worked there. So I do. Please get all the facts before you start calling people selfish. I worked at a job I hated for many years to support my family, and I don't think supporting my husband by taking care of the house, finances, and all the details of daily life constitutes as selfish. We are also planning on having children, and this has taught us to be wise with our finances so we can live on a limited income and I can stay home with them. Women used to stay home all the time back when our country respected homemaker as a career choice... apparently now women are "selfish" for wanting to take care of their husbands by being at home for them!
