I don't think he was equating the holocaust directly to stem cell research...that's a bit out of context, don't you think? He was equating the concept that the Nazis operated under.. jews weren't people so they could experiment on them medically, which they did. Its an argument of ideology. He's saying that the experiments on stem cells and their status as non-human is what is similar about Nazism and liberalism.. not that stem cell research equates literally to the holocaust.
