Here's to the Girls who just watch, aren't they the best?

So I'm not funny. I'm no comedian. We all know that. Give me the means and I'll do what I can. With a script I can do some fun stuff. But in my natural, Katie - state, I'm not funny. I don't know many good jokes, be them dead baby, your-mama, or blonde ones. I do know riddles though - boy do I know riddles. I can't remember pretty-much ( Read more... )

It's funny - I came across that poem in GENG one day as I was daydreaming. The form caught my eye and now it's one of my favorite poems. Crazy little world we live in eh?

KATIE

This is a girl who likes to sing and dance
Across the stage she will prance

For acting this girl has a knack
She is kind and never talks smack

She likes to tap - both kegs and feet ;)
And her demeanor is very sweet

Alas, she cannot tell a story it's true
But she will cheer you up when you are blue

With her outlook she makes problems appear less weighty
This awesome girl, my friend Katie

KATIE

I am not good at blending either. But in the end it won't be a bad thing. Your voice is unique and powerful and one day will distinguish you from the crowd and that's what's gonna make you a star. Of course your amazing personality and fantastically positive attitude won't hurt either ( :

Love you girl! Miss you!

I totally agree emma, I'd rather have a solo voice than a chior blend voice, but it's still good to know what you can and can't do, Perhaps a happy medium?

I see that you have embraced the community and medium known as Livejournal, that makes me happy. Very interesting post, at first it seemed like a random hodgepodge of statements, although it actually seems like a bunch of personal responses to situations you've dealt with recently, and thats cool. But I don't feel the explanatory ones, such as the first few, are necessary (beyond giving you the chance to let off steam). Anyone who has that opinion of you is, most likely, just envious of your fresh way of looking at the world, your "rose-colored glasses". The people that you want as close friends know you much better than that.

Fair enough - this is what came to mind when I sat down to write.

So this is not very anonymous. I will tell you who I am. Pumpkinhead. There, I said it. haha. This is quite the interesting entry. Well done. I think you have captured yourself quite well. I'd hope so anyway since you, yourself, are writing it and you know yourself better than anyone. It's funny to see how much we have both changed since middle school. I remember the shy, quiet Katie. Now look at you! :) (And I mean that in the kindest, nicest way!) I think a reunion is much needed for us both - maybe Dan Tupiak will come too. Teehee. The creation of pumpkinhead. Wow, I'm writing a novel on here. Well I love you and miss you girl! Talk to you soon! <3 the formerly obsessed PGT lover

Well my little one, I agree. We have both changed, in good ways I believe, yet we still have the same friendship that we did way back when and that's the coolest thing of all. I really can't say that about anyone else from Paris, as wonderful people as they were/are. We'll be in touch for life. Bet that scares ya, eh? A reunion is going to happen very soon, we'll figure it out. Peace out, homeflight.
