1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?:
I moved out of my parents house, became refriends with Megan, went to Texas for Shiokazecon, totalled my car. Shit, it was a year of years...
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I haven't ever made any, but I think this year I may try to stop smoking.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, but I found out that one of my old friends had a secret abortion.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank god.
5. What countries did you visit?
I didn't go out of the country, but as far as that goes, I travelled farther than I ever have in it. Fun times. I love to travel, but I won't set foot on an airplane.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
Hmmm... I dunno. It's been an ok year, if anything, I'd just like to do more of what I did in '06. Things are changing though, so we'll see what the New Year brings.
7. What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Not dates really, but events. I'm really glad that I got back together with Megan, everyone needs a best friend; at least I do. It was great going to Shiokazecon, and Chicago with her. I'm ecstatic that Shoog and I have survived this long out of our parent's houses.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Supporting myself and keeping my important relationships strong.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Probably not saving much money.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not really that I can recall.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My mp3 player is attached to my head! I never go anywhere without it!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Err... mine?
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The lady who called me pathetic for not having a Doodle Pony in stock after it was on a weekend sale... bitch.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent and vacation money.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Moving out. I was dreaming and dreaming about it for months; as soon as I found out that it might be true. It's strange to sit here and think that it really happened.
16. What songs will always remind you of 2006?
High and Mighty Color! :)
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i) happier or sadder?
Happier because I'm out of my parent's house and living with Colby.
ii) thinner or fatter?
Probably about the same, maybe a smidge skinnier.
iii) richer or poorer?
About the same really, I can't save money. :(
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
I wish I'd've had more 'me' time.

Blowing money on shit I didn't need.

Only in my head, lol, what?
24. What were your favorite TV programs?
Scrubs, Arrested Development, and House
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Haha yeah, but I didn't know this person last year, so I don't know if that counts.
26. What was the best book you read?
Oooh, I need to catch up on my reading. But Tomorrow When The War Began is still the best series ever.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Oh god, thats not fair! I love pretty much all music.

Mp3 player.
29. What did you want and not get?

I went to Texas with Megan for Shiokazecon!! I was 20 :)
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Winning the lottery I guess. Maybe moving to Cali or something, just cause that would be so fun! Maybe someday...
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Haha, I dress in the dark, I don't give a shit.
34. What kept you sane?
My friends, and the thought that theres always something better around the corner.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I have an embarassingly large number of celebrity crushes. Zach Braff, Hugh Laurie, and possibly Johnny Knoxville being at the top of the list. They alternate... today is an Aaron Stanford day.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
I don't really get involved with that stuff. I just think everyone needs to back off and just calm down a little. I'm not naive enough to think that that will ever happen, but I think a global 'deep breath' would help. Ahaa I'm a hippie.
37. Who did you miss?
The friendship that Lindsay and I used to have. We've both changed so much we're barely the people that we were when we knew each other.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
I'm gonna count my revived friendship with Megan as the best new person, but I enjoy quite a few people from TRU when things aren't so hectic.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006:
Don't let the stressful shit eat you alive, just have fun.
40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
-And I won't cry for yesterday
-There's an ordinary world
-Somehow I have to find
-And as I try to make my way
-To the ordinary world
-I will learn to survive
---
-Oh, look around you
-Look down the bar from you
-The lonely faces that you see
-Are you sure that this is where you want to be
-These are your friends
-But are they real friends
-Do they love you the same as me
-Are you sure that this is where you want to be
-You seem in such a hurry to live this kind of life
-You've caused so many tears and misery
-Look around you, take a good look
-And tell me what you see
-Are you sure that this is where you want to be
-Don't let my tears persuade you, I had hoped I wouldn't cry
-But lately, teardrops seem a part of me
-Oh, look around you, take a good look
-At all the lonely used-to-be's
-Are you sure that this is where you want to be
