Well, the food shopping is almost complete!

Well last night we went to Morrisons and did a big food shop - I can't remember the last time we spent so many pennies in one hit on food! The good news is that we got mostly everything on the list, and a lot of it was on offer. We did get a few bits and bobs not on the list, but not too many

We don't have the room for big shops - we have an under counter fridge and freezer.

that's why I was glad the freezer was almost empty when we started, as it doesn't hold much. When we do the building work for the kitchen/ diner, we're going to have a big American side-by-side fridge freezer - if I can figure out where to put it!! ;o)

Have to admit I do like Morrisons for a 'special' shop, for example if Colin and I are having a cheese and vino night. Other than that, it's the usual ASDA. Lidi is just a bit too scary at times though they did have Christmas goodies in stock in October :)

P.S. I hate my fridge/freezer in this flat. We're going to pester the landlord for a new one after Christmas.
