I just realized something.. People say they know themselves. Truthfully no one really knows themselves, they need people to improvise. Yes, you may think you know yourself but you always get other peoples' opinions on it, it may not be right but it still means something and has some meaning to it even if it is just something to make you feel bad.

i dont qutie agree, i keep quite a level of honesty, especially to my friends, i dont thynk ive ever gone behind good old douglas's back. and if u dont knwo yourself than no one does, after all you do spend 24/7 wiht yourself and can read your own mind!..but other than that yeah pretty much true

I've done and said a lot of stupid shit to a lot of my friends, until I realized who my honest to god true friends were (Beth), then I decided that they are the most important things in my life, and I'd be truley lost without them...the friends whom I realized weren't my true friends I still hang out with them, but 1. I don't trust them (obviously) and 2. I don't tell them anything. The only one of my friends that knows everything there is to know about me is Beth, and she will be the only one ever to know everything about me because I trust her more than anyone else in the world, and that's a best friend for you. I agree with the whole not knowing yourself thing, but that's part of growing, is finding out who you are so I don't think anyone knows themselves entirely ever, because you're always growing (not always phsyically) and you're always changing so how can you know yourself? Everyone's a hypocrite whether they admit it or not...they are once in their lives they have been or will be.
