Last Saturday I went to sunsetmog's (gorgeous) flat, ostensibly to be introduced to the Fast and Furious movies. We watched 1, the short film of pining across America at the beginning of 2, and 4 and I did enjoy their epic love, but what I've really taken away from the weekend (literally, actually, I stole season 1) is what we watched next: Veronica Mars. Seriously, though, Veronica Mars is just. I love that show. Another of my favourites that was cut down when it had developed some interesting potential. (KBell is still desperately trying to get a movie made, btw, which would be awesome.)

Have you got Patrick Ness's Chaos Walking trilogy for your library? I just read it and it's mostly pretty brilliant - really exciting, but with some interesting thinky stuff about war and gender and terrorism going on in the background, and only a moderate amount of fail.

We do indeed have them! They're fairly popular with the kids and they're on my list of things to read at some point.
