What is the use of a book without pictures?
I have learnt from my book poll (hey, more people do my book poll - I like to look at the stats!) that I have accidentally read quite an obscure selection of books this year. 2010 in books
It's time for my usual start to the year, my year in books 2010. Tick the ones you've read and talk to me about books in the comments.
This year I read 107 books, so broke the 100 mark by the skin of my teeth. Of those:
4 were rereads (*)
5 were nonfiction (N)
8 were graphic novels (G)

Impossible Monocle
I have been to the sales twice in the last two days. In that time I have managed to buy:
- pants (useful but boring, and not in the sale)
- some bog-standard toiletries
- a Gregg's pasty
- an overpriced tin of coconut milk

Jesus gets nothing for Christmas
I thought I'd perform a tiny Christmas miracle and update! I have had a smashing day in France with the parentals. We had presents and food and half a game of Trivial Pursuit (the second half will occur tomorrow, I imagine) and Doctor Who and the first episode of the SciFi version of Alice that chaletian bought me and a Poirot.
