Thanks, B! I was hoping there would be that oddness to it...I wanted the whole 'oh it's in ancient times' thing to be more of a surprise, but I think I depended on that too much...I think, when I edit it, that I won't keep it quite as much of a secret.

Thank you so much for reading this, Ashley. The title is a product of my indecisiveness..or rather, the titles. Each one is a possible name for the piece; I ended up turning it in with "Salt Of The Earth," but I'm not sure that's the one I'll keep.
