im not 100% sure.. but the exit at which i live and the 9th ward which is less than a mile from my apartment... are both under a TON of water... i dont want to think the worst... but i have to be realistic i guess... we are talking anywhere between 6 and 9 feet of water in my apartment. Don't fret, katie...just give it time...we are a nation that's quick to recover...to bounce back. and the city of new orleans will undoubtably bounce back strong from this. i believe that strongly. i will be in prayer for the city...the people...and for you and fellow students. i, too, love new orleans, and i pray that the Lord be with her through the aftermath of this disaster. Blessings, dear...I pray, too, for those who do not know Christ...because who do they turn to for answers to these questions? Who comforts their pain and who wipes away their tears? I pray that they do not build up bitterness toward a greater being, but call out to Him in this time of distress....that they might finally truly KNOW HIM...and SEEK HIM and ALLOW HIM to heal their pains...LOVE YOU! ~praying in HOUSTON,TX...your not too distant neighbor(KATY)
