Well, I am no longer a virgin to The Lourve. I have seen at least half of The Lourve in about two and a half hours, a grand feat in and of itself. You couldn't get NEAR the Mone Lisa. You just had to stand and admire from afar. No fun at all, eh? Well, I got to see lots of awesome Egyptian artifact, which put me in the mood to go to the British ( Read more... )

Yaaaay!!!

Ok. You have a choice of the following postcards:

da Vinci's Study of the Head of Mary Magdalene (you'd probably know it when you see it)

Micheangelo's Last Judgement

One of 3 different postcards left here of the hotel I'm staying in

Before I sent some to other people you would have had the choice of Pope Ratzinger, The David, The Trevi Fountain and one other I can't quite remember.

Lord God do I miss you!! I haven'[t seen my little big ball of cuteness in forever!! And man do I niss everyone else, too. It's great being here, but I wish I had everyone else here for the ride. Every time I see something that reminds me of someone I know I pine for them. I thought of you sometime when I was just getting here to Paris. I thought of Jessica when I sawsome random red plastic penguins perched on some balconies in Venice. Everything kees reminding me of people. Oh! And James!!! He's so obviously French. Lord does he look French.

Ya know, I always thought James had a very French 'stauche. I miss you too. Summer just isn't the same with my floopy little Katie Lee. \

I think I'd like the Last Judgement, please.

I didn't like Florence that much either.
It wasn't that interesting. We could see the Duomo from our hotel room there.

My favorite thing there was the Ponte Vecchio. They have the most beautiful jewelry. I bought a necklace their, but the only thing that's real is the gold. The aquamarine stones in it, aren't really aquamarine stones.

Did you buy any leather? :-P

Venice was awesome. We went on a gondola ride, but really, once you think about the fact that the water you're riding in, is sewer wastes & such, it's not so romantic anymore.
I bought a pretty watch from one od the stained glass stands there.

One of the only things I can remember about Venice is being in the square & chasing pigeons around & how odd it was that they just like land on you & rest there.

Rome was my favorite. Too much to say.

PLEASE tell me got some Gelato from a true Gelato stand while in Italy? It's like nothing they sell here. At all.

Ok, after typing the world's longest comment, I'm gunna go.
I hope you have tons of fun on the rest of your trip

Hey you sir. I need to know what postcard you'd like. You have either the Study of the Sistine Madonna, postcards of The Intercontinental, or Art-Neuvo style French ads. Sinaed there beat you to the Last Judgement.

Whichever one you like best, hon. I'm not picky (apart from my postscript in the last email).

Kay, love, unless you want your postcard adressed to "Kay with-the-beautiful-photos" I need a last name.

Well, scratch that. I'll just think of something clever. :-D

You have a choice of either a postcard of the hotel intercontinental, french ad postcards, or a postcard with michelangelo's sy=tudy for the sistine madonna.

Your choice!!

Oh, you'll love it here... it's just...

Have you ever read a novel by one of the American expatriots? Fitgerald? Faulkner? Well, you get a real grasp on why they came here when you get here. I mean, to Paris. Also, you come to understand juust why Renoir loved to paint common scenes from the huge public gardens, because they're perfect for paitning.

:D
