You're s****ing me! This is why people get so defensive against us more liberal Christians; we have to fight against these folk. The adulteress story as a liberal implant was my favorite, although the idea of liberal wordiness was a close second. He's called Yahweh because that's His freakin' name, y'all. I've heard about this! This is getting ridiculous, between the ELCA Lutheran Bible, THE Lutheran Bible, bla bla bla and now we have another translation because somebody is not happy!! I've heard that "casting lots" has become Gambling. Does that mean that the disciples gambled when they cast lots to replaced Judas? :)
