I empathise SO much with this!
My dad is a Bolton fan as well; my whole family is because we live in the North West. I was forced to support them until I was 11 when I first saw Frank and then with him as my reason I promptly made my escape!
I also have the same problem as you in that I only really watch them away, at the Reebok and Ewood Park, but I have also been to one match at the Bridge; it was one of the greatest days of my life!
I hope one day you'll have this experience as well :)

I wish i lived where my Dad is from, it's not far from Bolton, i love it there. People are so much nicer than here! And i really like the Reebok too, ive been there a few times, never watched a match though, had an uncle who worked there, he used to work at Old Trafford and we all went there too, i wasnt all that impressed. Did meet David Beckham once though and i nearly died! *swoons at the memory*

Eugh i was once forced to put a sticker on my window that had a bolton players name on, cant remember who it was now. Oh the things i had to do! Wish i could remember his name its annoying me lol

Lampsy is as good a reason as any to support Chelsea!
You should definately try and get to Stamford Bridge, it's amazing, I'm lucky enough to live realtively close by, so I'm the opposite from you, ive been there loads, but only seen chelsea away a few times (and one of them was my first match, I was expected to support the other team but came away an avid chelsea fan, though that was yearssss ago, back in the days of Wimbledon FC in the premier league and no such thing as the MK dons!) but anyway im rambling! The point is Stamford Bridge is epic and so worth it! =D
My parents arent big footie fans but if asked would say they suppored Spurs, if I'd followed in their footsteps, how different it would have all been... :P

Oh dear, could have been so different haha! I'm kind of impartial to Spurs, i dont really mind them, in fact i kinda like them. I think thats more to do with Harry Redknapp than anything else. That and they arent really competition for us like Arsenal.

My mum suggested tonight that she take me to a match, my mother, who has never been to a match in her life and panics when in a crowd of people! God between the pair of us i dont think we would even make it to London! Imagine us both hyperventilating in the stands before the match even starts. I've kinda got mysef worked up for it, so i might actually be able to go through with it *crosses finger*

I totally remember Wimbledon! Pfft MK Dons indeed *shakes head*

:D

Indeed! Secretly me too! Harry Redknapp is a great manager and I have a certain fondness for certain players! True, but I'm bummed City got 4th spot instead of them.

haha I had that moment with my mum a few months ago, I mentioned a match to her and did NOT want to go, and came away asking when we could go to another one!
Haha that would be an interesting experience! But I'm sure you'll be fine, and any hyperventilation will just be caused by excitement! :P But definitely go through with it!

Yay! \o/ exaaactly, AFC Wimbledon all the way, soo close to the league, this is our year! :P

Hehe! I was a little gutted that they didnt get 4th too. Although as i'm seriously crushing on Silva right now then i'm just happy i'll get to see more of him, oh and Kolarov. Terrible i know, but let me fangirl. I deserve it!

I've got myself excited at the thought of going now. Maybe i'll ease myself into an away match at Newcastle, take the mother with me and see how it goes from there! My mate who is a Man Utd fan offered to go with me but i think i'll give it a miss. He'd spend the match trying to annoy me, probably end up getting beat up off some angry Chelsea fans and/or me! :L
