Let's start with the bad stuff and then we'll end on a very good note. First there was chruch yesterday. The roof leaked again big time and the nursery is trashed again. Do they really think closing the zoo/art institute/science museum/etc. will actually end up being better for the city? They're just going to drive away the culture that cares about that sort of thing. It infuriates me but I don't know what to do about it.

I'll be home Friday until next Sunday...I shall give you a call so we can hang out!

Katie, check your e-mail. I sent you a website where you can contact the governor and maybe she can help us. My dad and I have sent it to everyone that we know. Maybe if we spread the word enough we can save the zoo from closing! Can't wait until you're home!
