i am going through some of my old cds of pictures and poetry and i came across this little gem that had me laughing for about 5 minutes.

August 21, 2004.

We had a thunderstorm last night. The sky exploded.
...and thats all it says.

If you don't see the humor in that, i'm sorry but we can't be friends anymore.

I think I remember talking to you on MSN that night.

I saw a tree branch explode yesterday because of the snowstorm. It was swishing around in the air with some power lines, and a loud flash and a pop like a faraway firework just went off. About a minute later, the branch actually caught fire (looked like a firewood log that's almost worn out) and then BAM! it exploded again.

wow!! That would have been quite the site too see!! Pretty cool I bet.

You have a wonderful memory if you remember that conversation...I don't even remember writing that.

Hahaha, that must've been when we started talking on MSN for the first time because it was a few weeks before school started. Man, good ole' LJ for helping us meet!

As for your quote... I guess we're still friends! I got a kick out of it! ;)
