Well, I have nothing else to update about, and since it's STILL raining, I have nothing else to do. We were driving through town today and the river's so high it's only about 6 feet underneath the big bridge. Hickories is one huge swimming pool, Tony's restaurant doesn't have a parking lot, and you can't get to the middle school. They might get ( Read more... )

YAY SOMETHING CORPORATE! it used to flood all the time in charleston and we never got days off. we just ha to wade or use overturned trash cans as stepping stones. ah, the good old days.

Yep, the middle school is surrounded, hope we all get off school! On the other hand, that's where the auditorium is, and the play opens on Friday. We need to practice! Maybe inflateable sleds can be used as rafts?

I know! I heard that the water might not go down until Thursday... that would be a problem!
