I am in Shreveport with my family and Lance. We are staying at my brother-in-law's apartment. I think that we are planning on driving up to Little Rock for a week or two until they pump all of the water out of SE Louisiana. Luckily, the French Quarter has not gotten a lot of water or had much damage, so Lance and I will more than likely still

Thanks. It is pretty bad. New Orleans is like a third world country now...looting, shootings, not to mention 4 or 5 feet of water and other damages. I am miles away out of harm's way, so that makes it even more surreal. They say it will be 2-3 weeks before they let anyone into the city..1-2 months before any power, phones or water is restored. I could tell you so much more...but I'm sure you've seen the news.

Glad to see that you got out. I can't say as much for my friends Sadie or Jason. Still no word on them yet.

Thanks. Good luck finding your friends. We haven't heard from any of my boyfriends' family members...hopefully we will hear from all of our loved ones soon.
