So, I finally got to start working; Thursday was my first day. It's a good thing because I desperately need money, but it's definitely going to keep me super-busy. Monday through Thursday, I'll be going to work from 8-12 (and eating my lunch during my 15 minute break at 10), then I'll leave to be at class from 12:30-2:30, and then go back to work ( Read more... )

Cadiz (which all the locals pronounce Cadith, although I don't) is a small beach town located near the southern tip of Spain on the Strait of Gibraltar. Since Leslie and I had an extra day in Portugal, we decided to take a day trip to Sintra, a small town about an hour's train ride from Lisbon, on Friday, April 22. Sintra was absolutely gorgeous; it's located up in the mountains, and the lush, semi-tropical vegetation of Portugal encroaches on everything there.
