So after being not too entirely pleased with how I looked in Star Date Sheryl, I decided to make Casual "French" blue dress Sheryl for a photoshoot in Atlanta with Mer, Sam, and Steven. I know!! I had a Sunday off!! I haven't had a Sunday off (including AWA LOL) since... well, Dragon*con, but that doesn't count! POINT IS, THEY'RE RARE.

I still haven't seen this show yet, but from looking at all these cosplays, now I really want to! ^^; lol

Dude, Macross Frontier is the first anime I've gotten REALLY excited about in a LONG time. I recommend it to EVERYONE. The only person I know so far who's had kind of a "meh, it was alright" reaction to it is my boyfriend. But he's OLD, so ignore him.

And I think I feel similarly about my purple Sheryl like you do about your Star Date Sheryl. I just don't feel like it's the most flattering thing on me. I've been thinking about trying to sell that dress soon.

Hell, I might have an AniAl report by the time the day is through. This is what happens when you give Katie a day off with no work, no homework, no costumes to sew, a much cleaner apartment, and no Cliff in town. She gets stuff done on the internet. ;D I love the off-season.

I think if you didn't have boobs, HSQ Sheryl would be unflattering, but because you do, they make the dress work. Like in this shot and this shot. But I can understand your pain. I'm thinking about selling my Sheryl top, but I also feel like if I maybe took it apart one more time, I could make it work... but will I ever actually find time to wear it again is the question.

Hmm, I could tell you how to get your Star Date top to fit more like mine but you'd kind of need more fabric for it unless it could still look right if you had the bottom waistbandish part of the top worn up higher.
