If I could have anyone do it, it'd be my friend Aimi, but she wasn't gonna be at AX. ;_; (Ironically, we would only need someone shorter than Diana, which isn't that hard to find!)

The problem with that is that the way the necklace is made, it actually would probably come off WAY too easily, just like in the show. XD

LOL, yes, I meant AWA! (OMG, I just typed AX AGAIN! LOL) And we didn't want to keep asking you to load up your plate with OUR cosplay groups and then not have any time to do the costumes YOU wanted to do. I wish I'd known. ;_;

I love the macross idol fight shoot! OMGZ! That made me laugh...
It's funny how I could pick out all the locations of your photo shoots inside the con. I went to AWA once, but I didn't think they held it at that place EVERY YEAR! lol It felt like I was there from your photos since I could visualize the area. Guess I am used to cons on the East coast where they can't seem to make up their minds on where to hold the con. I like the consistency of cons like AFO etc where they do have it the same place.
Anywho, you looked gorgeous as usual in all your costumes and I just wanted to point out how wonderful it is that you have your cosplay soul mates, Mer& Diana! It's nice to see you all having fun. You are very lucky, I wish I had such great cosplay friends who love to cosplay together. ^__^

Haha, yeah, around here, we don't move around- we usually just expand into the surrounding area, like Dragon*con. XD

D'awww, thanks! The both of them are probably a BIG part of why I'm still in this hobby. ^_^

wow Katie, your shizuma wig is so beautiful in the pictures. Where did you obtain it? xDD~

and it looks like there are lots of interesting spots around awa for photoshoots and gatherings. Very convenient =)

Well, the base wig was borrowed from Sam, who uses it for Yin. The ponytail is a long, silver white spiral curl wig from ebay. It was cheap. :D

Yes, AWA is actually a really pretty con! It has a GORGEOUS garden area and lots of tall surrounding office buildings because it holds a lot of conventions. It's where we had our MF photoshoot earlier this year (http://katielovespink.livejournal.com/110023.html).

I'm sad I missed your costume, too! You looked sooooooooo MOE. TOTAL RAPE MATERIAL. ;DDDDDD (Seriously, that costume turns normal girls into lesbians. I put it on Diana at South, and she went NUTS.)

I'm looking forward to next year, too! Mostly because I'll be local next year and definitely NOT entering the costume contest. :DDDDD
