I haven't quilted in forever, but yesterday I had kalquessa over to teach her how to quilt, because I like for other people to also have way too many hobbies that they don't have either the money nor the time to adequately spend doing. HAHAHA.

My owl placemats are so super awesome. We've been using them and everything! ;D

Also, dang that's a lot of pieces cut out for Debbie's quilt! Still, less crying is great, and the end result is pretty fab.

Bwah, I am shiny, just like my favorite piece of fabric! Thank you again, I had so much fun, and everyone at home was suitably stunned that I'd actually made something with fabric and thread that did not exhibit noticeable bloodstains. I carried the pillow around with me all evening. Mr. Bill made fun of me for putting it at the foot of the bed when I went to sleep so that when I woke up in the morning, it would be there for me to squeeze and say "I made a pillow!" some more.
