I think we've transcended kerfuffle and are now at the clusterfuck level of modern communication.

Plus, now when I read the fic, I'll be going 'oh yeah - this was the one where everything went wrong when we tried to get in touch with one another - boy, am I glad we both persisted, because else I'd never have been able to read this'.
