It has! Actually if you walk down the path from Neilson to Chapin, you'll definitely smell it. It took me a while to figure out where the smell was coming from as a first year and then I was informed by someone that it was affectionately known as the "vagina tree." Don't stick your nose too close though, as a warning. It only smells when it's in bloom. It's the official sign of spring at Smith, if you ask me.
