Wow, I've had the BEST weekend in an age! I got a free, that's FREE, as in it cost some other person nearly £50, ticket to La Boheme at the Albert Hall on Saturday. My friend was going with HER friend, who had to suddenly have a hysterectomy and simply could not make the train journey up to London this weekend and very kindly waved her ticket in

I'm going fine. I spent Sunday (I work on Saturday.) grandparenting. My granddaughter is coming back to me. She seems to have settled down with her parents, and her Poppy became more important. She sidled up to me, and said, "I want to cuddle with you." Wow! Afterwards she looked at me and said, "I love you." And we went on to recite who all loves one another. And Kyle -- he says proudly -- I was better able to calm him down than anyone else! He has maybe a dozen words, and one of them is "Oppy".
