Ew, Scott. Way to fail. *shakes head*

But Emma and Jean's bantering is to die for (though I'd have loved a little more Angela, this chapter.) Still, very awesome.

my favorite section of this was:

A slight hum of enjoyment escaped her. It really was good coffee and not that store bought tripe that most people deigned to be consumable. Sycophants.

Being a bit of a coffee snob I had to pause and laugh for a few moments after reading this. Scott is good at being evil. Awesome. This was an excellent chapter. I also really enjoy how Emma and Jean have developed. Thank you

Well, it is cannon that Emma and Hank are the coffee snobs of the X-Men. It's one of the reasons they get along so well :)I've personally seen two comics where the two talk about coffee.

As for Scott... heh. Things will get worse. That's all I'm saying.

I'm pleasantly surprised about how Emma and Jean have developed myself :) I'm glad people approve.

I just tore through 8 chapters in between work. I'm lovin' it. The rapport between Jean and Emma is amusing to-no-end. Emma's voice is spot-on! I love how she oscillates from one emotion to the next so swiftly, yet remains armed to the teeth with her rapier wit... That's our White Queen for ya!

Angela's pretty interesting too. I'm really interested to see what unfurls with her and Emma. I'm looking forward to seeing more awkward scenes with her and Warren. That first scene where Warren is introduced was hilarious to me. It was like an episode of Maury waiting to happen for a second there.

All in all, it's a great read; I'm looking forward to chapter 9!

I found and devoured this fic yesterday, it's great!

Scott is comfortingly douche-y ('screepy when folks write him like a hero), major points to you for wiping the telepathic affair out of existence.

I love the Emma/Jean interplay. The only time I see those two get along in fic is when they're paired so it's cool to see the banter and a fledgling friendship.

I really really like what you did with Angela, Emma, and the orgasmic information exchange. Angela gets to keep her unique perspective without years of people explaining, "this is a microwave," etc. Plus she gets all of her world knowledge through the Emma Frost filter, not so cool in the father situation but it makes for an interesting read.

Really great fic all around, can't wait for more. :)

First off, great comment and feedback. Thank you.

The thing about Scott (besides the fact that I've never really liked him and i've been an x-men fan for years) is that he's really NOT a Boy Scout just as Xavier is a terrible role model. Granted, Scott was pretty decent up until his marriage to Madelyne, but Boy Scouts don't leave their wives and newborn sons to go back to their love. Add in the psychic love affair with Jean and then let's not forget this X-Force bit where Scott is sending people out to KILL. Yeah... Don't like him

As for Xavier, he is a master manipulator and I've disliked him from the beginning. Sure he's got this fantastic dream that men and mutants like together in peace. Too bad he's wiping people memories including his own X-Men (read the Vulcan saga?) for years and years. It doesn't matter why he does it, the fact is that he believes his dream is more important than anyone elses, even his own students'.
