This past Thursday, my mom was fired from Me&Ed's restaurant in the south end of New Bedford. She was let go after being a very loyal and devoted employee for 29 years. Their reasons for firing? Age and sex discrimination, "how you look"(and when asked what they meant by that, they had no answer), and "it's my restaurant, i can fire whoever I want

Are you serious? This is HORRIBLE. Have you contacted Projo or one of the network channels? People should hear about this. This is so wrong.

That's awful! I'm so sorry to hear that. I would consider taking this story to the media and seeing if they're interested. Nothing works like bad publicity!
