So I am finally going to finish the Shane entry. Sorry to the people who have been wondering why I haven't finished. It has been a crazy few months, plus this is just hard to write about. Thank goodness I know the ultimate ending of this story - that you have a beautiful, loving, adorable seven-year-old. My heart breaks for you and you family as I read what you have all been through (and I don't even know all of it), but I'm so thankful that Shane is here with you today. You are so incredibly strong, and as blessed as you are to have Shane, he is equally as blessed to have a mom like you.

oh, i want to drive out there right now and give Shane the biggest hug ever ... and I'd start to cry and he'd be like WTF dude?

He is used to it!! After every entry, I go cuddle with the little guy! Last night's entry was especially rough on me.... Next time we see you, ask him to show you his scar. He just recently noticed it & thinks it is kind of cool!
