A public entry for ask_a_nurse visitors

Just in case anyone stops by from ask_a_nurse, I wanted to say that I have been away from LJ a lot the last year or so while I was pregnant and busy with a toddler and during the last 3 months since the birth of my daughter. I was not aware that my "neglect" of the community was causing so many problems, and I apologize. I had no idea that it would be so

YOu certainly did create a successful community! Actually, I'm glad you did, because it seems to be helping a lot of people. I think people snarked more about the people giving "freaky" advice, rather than the people who created it. It's too bad about how the tension escalated, but it's led to some positive changes in the end. It's actually a LOT of work to keep up with moderating that community, I don't blame you at all for not having the time. Life is bigger than LJ, after all. :) I only just discovered ask_a_nurse a few months ago - it's actually a fun sort of volunteer work that I can do any time on my days off. Anyway, I'm enjoying moderating - thank you for creating the community, and for letting us help out with running it. :)

Thank you so much for your comment, Claire. It really means a lot to me, in fact, it made my day!:D I'm very happy to have some great (real) nurses modding the community now, and I really like the new layout, btw! Thank you for taking the time and having the interest to help the LJ community with their health-care questions!
