When I got to the end of the second season, I got really excited because Meadow Soprano (the daughter) decided to go to Columbia! However, this excitement soon turned to dismay in the third season when everything about it was completely inaccurate- from the location it was ( Read more... )

Actually there IS a bicycle rack in front of Butler. (Being here for summer session, I was able to check). It is, admittedly, a really small bicycle rack.

it's a miniscule bike rack for about 4 bikes, but a bike rack nonetheless. a car would be ridiculous. incidentally, the parking garage on 114th street charges 421.95 a month. but i guess if you're meadow soprano.... (and honestly, parking in the street is difficult long-term). i'm curious as to why they wouldn't film on campus. i mean...they've filmed...cell phone commercials there. clearly, we're not loath to selling out to the media, and frankly, the sopranos beats cell phone commercials.

On a completely different topic....I have a computer question for you. The background on my desktop is completely white. My preferrences state that indeed I have selected a pretty cool background, but it's not showing up. I have so far tried my generic solution to computer problems - ie, rebooting. This hasn't changed anything. Do you know what's wrong? This is the first time it happened. One day I woke up my computer from sleep (I rarely turn it off because that takes forever) and it was like this. Incidentally, I have a mac.

Thanks very much

yeah... i'm not really certain what to do on a mac. for lack of knowing anything about how it's set up on a mac, i'd say go in and change around what your desktop is a few times, and if you can't figure it out, try and condense your problem into a few words and do a google search. you'd be surprised how well that works for fixing problems.
