Oh my...I think I'm going to cry. That's so awful. I'm so sorry you and Scott had to go through that! I'm glad to hear he is ok though. Keep us posted on what the doctors say. I hope it never happens agin.

Congrats on being an aunt! What a week of ups and downs! He's got a great name though! I like it.

Good god, I'm glad you're ok Scott (addressing you cuz I know you read this). I hope everything turns out ok, like Jules said, let us know what the doctors say.

I am so glad he is OK. My little sister had a grand maul (sp?) seizure in my arms a few years ago and I have to say it was terrifying! After several tests they determined she had Epilepsy. She takes medication now and has not had another incident. Only thing that sucked was she couldn't drive for 6 months so guess who got to be her personal chauffer?? And if you know my little sister you would know that she insisted on being dropped off in front of the Quad for her classes. I then parked in South Stadium and walked. I'm just glad she's still with us. I hope this is Scott's only one as well.

Yep, that was probably one of the scariest things I had ever seen. And I thank God that if it was going to happen, that it happened where it did. I am just so thankful that he wasn't alone, or going up the stairs and fell and hit the concrete, or walking outside where he would have fallen on the asphalt, or in the bathroom, or...the list goes on an on. I am just glad we were all there to make sure he didn't hurt himself. I am thankful too that it wasn't a grand maul seizure. Those are the worst of the worst and I am glad it wasn't that bad. The doctors said that he won't be medically diagnosed as being epileptic until he has another one (and I am hoping that he doesn't!!). At that point, they would think about putting him on medication, but not yet. We just want this second round of MRI's, CT scans, and EEG's to come back clean with no surprises. His grandfather had Parkinson's disease, so we are really hoping that that isn't our "surprise". We are praying that this was an isolated incident and that he will never ever have ( ... )

I have always been thankful my sister came and knocked on my door. Otherwise she would have had the seizure in her room and no one would have known!

You really have to read my latest LJ entry- funny stuff! Love you girl! I hope it all turns out OK!
