Doctors are so difficult sometimes.

Scott called the nurse of the neurologist he found that he liked. He explained to her that he had another seizure and that he needed to come in and see the doctor. Well, it turns out his doctor had to have emergency back surgery or something and he is out until further notice. So now, all the other doctors in that group had to take over all that ( Read more... )

That must be so frustrating for you and Scott. :( I hope the doctor gets better soon, so he can get Scott better also. It's almost like the worst thing ever because there's no pill or treatment for it. You can't perscribe some antibiotics or a painkiller and be ok. But as for Shiner...I'm glad he's feeling better!

If you want to get some yummy stuff for Shiner, you should check this out: lolaboosdogspa.com
It's a friend from the chihuahua LJ community. She donates $1 from every item, to a shih tzu (I think) rescue in Alabama. She makes everything herself and it's all doggie safe and tested on her dog. It's $5 for 2 big dog bones shaped hunks of soap. And they smell yummy. She also sent me some samlples of smells she will be adding soon.

That shitty metal band is Shadows Fall. Yes I would love to show you how to post pictures. It's SO easy. Be glad you can actually move for 6 miles. I'd be able to do that 3 hours and infinity minutes. =)

My little sister has had about 6 neurologists since her seizure in September of 2001. Some she felt were too strict (driving and diet), others she could not get in to see when she needed to re-fill her meds or could not understand their English. Thankfully she has only had one seizure but we all know very well she COULD have another at anytime.

As far as Scott not getting in to see the doctor after having a seizure- that is ridiculous. I understand his primary physician is out but he should be a PRIORITY for the other doctors to pick-up. Is there another medical group or hospital you can go to?
