Went to Burning Man this year- again- skipped last year for various reasons and sent Rob without me. So this year. We entered the ticket lottery- thought we didn't get tickets when the emails started to arrive back at the beginning of the year and started to talk about going somewhere else this year- then it turned out we did get tickets as did

I'm sorry I missed you on the playa! You needed goat cheese stuffed french toast to make you go ooh and aah ! The sunken ship was fantastic! The Temple was great also.

You're right- I did need goat cheese stuffed french toast- and the temple was beautiful. We did come out to visit on Wed. but there was a function going on and Danger said to come back another time- and on Sat we packed up to leave and it took all day- by the time we realized it was time to head over to you for toast we realized it was probably too late. You will have to come back and visit when it's not BM and we can do a brunch here or something. I did want to see you.

If the post-BM essay you are referring to is the one I am thinking of (on facebook?) then yeah, I was annoyed by it to. Because the gist of it was sort of "I was irritable and angry the whole times and it's because I am self-obsessed..." but at no point did the writer say anything along the lines of "Hey, everyone, sorry I was such a surly bitch at Burning Man!" The essay itself was self-obsessed.

Yup= that's the one- I would have preferrred- "sorry I'm bitchy- BM obviously isn't my thing and I will refrain from coming and ruining other people's time in the future- But she lives in the "all about me" chair.
