I am not a "rock the boat" type of person, but this passage in a movie review of August Rush bothered me on such a deeply personal level, I had to do something:

"He's a blank slate, complete with glazed-over eyes and a slack-jawed smile. I don't think August is intended to be autistic, but that's how Highmore plays him. Highmore cries frequently

GOod for you!! His apology was half-assed, but at least he took SOME ownership of the problem and FIXED it.

Good on you for standing up and saying something! What he wrote was horrible. At least he fixed the offending statement, but he could have done better on the apology... and one would hope he would send out an open apology for those he offended who didn't say something.
