My thesis is due in exactly one week!!! Actually I have found the whole process rather un-stressful, which for those of you who know me is completely unlike me. I must admit it's kinda bizarre hearing you sound so optimistic about Uni, but I think that's great. Fingers crossed on you getting published as well!
Can't wait to see you again.. a weekend of Hunter Valley binging and purging will be just what you need once all this is over with.

It's been 4 days (or so, I'm not sure of the date) since this post, the date is creeping even nearer... but that's obviously ok! Which is brilliant. I'm glad it hasn't been too stressful, and that you found the topic interesting (it's a cool topic, and a fascinating area in general I think). And getting published!!!! Wow.
And while alarming and just annoying, getting your work out and about the place with these presentations is good for making contacts in the field. And have my fingers tightly crossed (it's disturbing my blood flow, can I stop now?) for RA work for you. A decent wage and interesting work, is it so much to ask?
Hooray for you! You're doing brilliantly. And the letters after your name just keep increasing.
