The days are getting warmer and longer, horay! However another not so appealing side of Summer has also reemerged. I received a rude surprise as i opened my car door today; I had grabbed a huntsman which was living under the handle (shudder shudder). I hope i don't forget to check for it tomorrow

Winter does have its perks mind you, namely rolled up in bed in my blankets on a cold rainy morning and open fires, i love sitting around an open fire!

But with summer comes the roaches.. Every year they're stronger (and bigger) and every year I dread seeing The Swarm for the first time. *shudder*
I could completely forgo summer if it meant I could still be messy and somehow roach free for the rest of my days.
Summer also means sweaty cleavages (butt and front), headaches, exhaustion, irritability and sunburn. Grrrrr.
Oh, and you forgot all the ghekko shit all over your house, since they'll devour said lizards, roaches and flies. WOO!

I like:
-Wearing scarves (who woulda thought? I always thought they were irritating fashion accessories, but so warm and fun)
-The quality of light, sorta soft
-Mist
-Snow
-Pubs with fires in them
-Needing absolutely no excuse to spend a lot of time snuggled up and watching movies
-Having something in common with everyone, you always have a topic of conversation (if trite and repetitive)
-Central heating
-All the boozing and socialising around Christmas
I don't like:
-Four weeks of a completely overcast sky
-Trite, repetitive conversations about the weather
-Those few weird weeks when the sun goes down at 3.30pm
-The time it takes to leave the house - wallet, keys, lip balm, mobile, and now gloves, 4 layers and scarf
-Cold toes
