Back home after driving up the beautiful California coast, through the amazing ancient Redwoods, visiting my sister, niece, and mom, and setting off way too many fireworks and driving home in our sauna of a car. I love the rivers and amazing natural places here in California, and Oregon is so so beautiful. Portland is such a fun town, especially

yeah. it really is kinda cold here. i had a rude awakening too when i came back from my southern roadtrip. i think portland would be rad BUT, of course, my selfish side hopes that you guys give the eastbay a try before you move so danged far away...
