I spent the day in bed with toast and tea. I suppose I could have forced myself to go through the say but  I frankly needed to burrow in bed. There will be motivation as of tomorrow...I'll need it for the grad school application process and for my last year in JET. I need to make the most of this year in terms of language study

I'm also considering taking the GRE, and not bothering to attempt the Japanese driving test (too hard to get proof of my pre-Japan driving experience, as my current license has a 2007 issue date).
I read somewhere that they are totally revamping the GRE... will that be in effect before this fall for the tests in Osaka. Is it necessary to schedule that so far in advance too? I was thinking i'd study a bit and then schedule when i felt ready...

Hey, I heard you and Matt are getting married. Congrats! While he and I aren't nearly as close as I'd like us to be, I do know from the time I've hung out with him that he's a great guy. Sure, he may like that weird Japanese anime crap, but I'm sure you can overlook a few flaws. ;)
