Mostly. I think the comment was intended toward new prospective friends, but you can use the "custom" security level if you only want a certain set of friends to see a post.

Basically, I don't want anyone other than the people on my friends list looking. Sometimes I write about things that aren't appropriate for everyone's eyes. Plus, since kids are more computer literate than I ever was, I don't want to risk having any of my students finding me online. I know it's a slim chance, but I'm playing it safe. This post is one of four visible to the general public.
