That is warm for you guys! We're supposed to be hot, hot, hot even at this time of year and we're only at about 31 C, so we're not that far off in temps right now. I almost passed out from heatstroke last Saturday, though -- went to a football game in New Orleans and it was well up into the 90's (fahrenheit, about 35 C ), sitting in a concrete stadium that was absorbing and radiating the heat back to us, like being in a stone oven! And to make matters worse, I was wearing black jeans. Not my smartest moment. :D
Heatstroke! I hope you're ok. Heatstroke is kind of serious, isn't it? You have to be more careful *wags finger*
Wow, 31C. That's proper hot. I love (and at the same time, I'm horrified) when you say 'only 31C' lol. That reminds me of when I was in China in April, the girls in the kept saying 'ooo, it's starting to get warm, isn't it?' and it was 30C. Starting to get warm?! It's already warm! I would even go as far as to say it's hot! But maybe I was just being a wussy foreigner :D
Do you have hot weather all year round? It's one of the things I love about living in the UK, it's the change in seasons. I'll miss having a Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter when I move to the South Pacific.
btw, I know I've already proclaimed my love for Greek, but OMG I LOVE IT and I'm scared that the show night turn to suck in later seasons. I hope not, although even if it did suck, I would still watch it for Casey and Rusty Cartwright.
Hee! I may have been exaggerating a bit about the heatstroke. The unexaggerated truth: sometime near the end of the 1st half, I knew that if I didn't get up and go below to the shade pretty soon, I was going to pass out and I didn't want to embarrass myself by tumbling down the stadium, so I went. *g* After I had some cold water and cooled off a bit, I went back up and didn't stay even a half hour that time... went back down, lol. And then felt so, so sick on the drive home and all the next day (that was the worst part, really). Still, I did better than some! A few high school kids did pass out, poor things. I think the older fans fared better because we were wise enough to get out of the sun. ;)
Wow, 31C. That's proper hot. I love (and at the same time, I'm horrified) when you say 'only 31C' lol.We had a rough summer! For a long stretch of it, it got over 100 F (what's that, about 37.8 C?) every day with heat index temps of 115 F (46 C !!) If this is global warming, holy crap. I'm scared for the future. D
