i haven't started any veggie plants yet; my customers and I, well acquainted with the weather here in the shadow of the Eastern Continental Divide, seldom plant tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, etc. before May 15. I'll have cabbage plants ready for March, and will probably plant field corn and potatoes in April. The hybrid sweet corn needs a warmer soil temp: 60-70F, depending on variety.

Speaking of early spring crops, do people in your area eat creasy greens? I sell a lot of them. People tell me that I'm one of the few growers who doesn't include weeds in my creasy greens.
