I feel like I'm sitting on the sidelines. I love the game. I don't like what I'm seeing. I don't like what the coach is doing. I don't like how the players are speaking to each other. I don't like the mediocrity of the plays that are earning applause from the crowd

The game. The game in which whether or not to participate is the supreme choice before us. The game wherein one's level of skill and success are the ultimate determinants of that individual's value as a life lived.

Or wait, maybe I'm thinking about this the wrong way. But, well, it's certainly been feeling like that lately.
